The Barknest basket recalls in its shape and name a welcoming nest, whose rounded walls preserve its contents. An object with an expressive design, capable of enhancing the environment in which it is inserted. Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the "Bark" collection - from English bark - was inaugurated in 2015 by the homonymous centerpiece. The authors have drawn inspiration from their home, Casa Boucquillon: a place of experimentation, meditation and work where they live in symbiosis with nature. The tunnel of the "Bark" series recalls the bark of the trees that surround the house. The result is a strongly poetic collection in which every single object is shown, in form or function, in continuous and harmonious dialogue with nature.
