After La Cintura di Orione by Richard Sapper and Falstaf by Alessandro Mendini, Alessi has entrusted a new-generation designer with the difficult task of touching the public's imaginary, exploring the archaic continent of "pentolicity". Stefano Giovannoni, whose style expressly recalls a poetics of the affections, has evocatively reinterpreted the ancient terracotta vases, and the warmth of familiar perfumes in capable, pot-bellied, blessed "two-eared" saucepan - as Catullus sang - produced in the functional and practical stainless steel. The "Mami" series also includes aluminum pans and pans at non-stick cast-iron, a paste-set and a pressure cooker, as well as a cutlery set and superb kitchen knives.
