Personalizzazione: If you want to make the icon truly unique, choose to have it personalized by our craftsmen by engraving initials (maximum 3), a name, a date representing the event for which you are giving it, whether it is an anniversary, a baptism, a wedding or simply a memory for a special event. You can also choose to have a real personalized dedication engraved, which will be made on a plate that will be applied to the back of the icon in the position deemed most appropriate for keeping it. We recommend opting for an English Italic style as it is more elegant.

Our Lady of Kazan is an image of the Madonna and Child of Byzantine origin dating back to the 11th century and lost in 1209, rediscovered in 1579 in Russia in the city of Kazan' from which it takes its name. After its rediscovery, it soon became the most venerated Marian icon in the late Middle Ages. It was considered the protector of the family: a copy was given to the newlyweds immediately after the wedding ceremony and placed in the carriage that took them to their new home, and according to tradition the icon had to enter the house first, as Lady of the hearth. Nowadays, Our Lady of Kazan is one of the most important and appreciated wedding gifts for both Christian and Orthodox weddings because it is a symbol of Good luck and Protection for the new Family.
